Vaporesso Luxe XR MAX Pod Vape Kit

The ultra-high-density cell inside is large by pod mod standards, and it comfortably covers a full day even on a direct-lung setup. Charging runs at 5V/2A through USB-C, so topping up takes far less time than the capacity suggests. The OLED screen shows exactly where the level sits rather than leaving you guessing. For heavier users, this alone makes the Vaporesso Luxe worth the step up.

Output adjusts right up to 80W, giving you room to run low-resistance mesh coils properly rather than underpowering them. The AXON chip keeps the ramp-up fast and the output steady from a full battery down to a nearly empty one. Three taps of the central button open power adjustment, and four taps reach the main menu. Everything runs through one button, which keeps the device clean.

Fit a coil, and the device recognises its resistance, then suggests the wattage that suits it best. That stops the most common cause of a ruined coil, which is firing a high-ohm head at direct-lung power by mistake. You can override it whenever you want manual control. It makes an 80W device approachable for someone stepping up from a smaller kit.

Pod choice decides your style, and coil choice fine-tunes it. Three Luxe XR pods are available, each matched to a different group of GTX coils, so one device genuinely covers tight MTL through to full cloud chasing. Replacements are easy with Vaporesso Luxe XR Replacement Pods, and the wider Vaporesso Coils range covers every resistance listed below.

A slider on the body controls how much air reaches the coil, moving smoothly rather than clicking between set points. Close it down for a restricted mouth-to-lung pull, open it fully for an unrestricted direct-lung draw, or sit anywhere in between. Small adjustments change the feel noticeably, so dialling in your preference takes seconds. Nothing shifts once you have set it.

Every GTX coil uses COREX construction, which spreads heat quickly and evenly across the mesh. The practical result is a shorter ramp-up, sharper taste definition, and bigger vapour output at the same wattage. Coils also hold their character longer before fading rather than dropping off after a few days. Priming properly before the first draw gets the most from them.

Vaporesso's SSS structure locks liquid inside the pod by sealing the joints where it usually escapes. That matters on a device with this much power, since heat cycles push liquid around more than on a small kit. Pockets stay dry, and the base stays clean between refills. An occasional wipe of the contacts is all the upkeep needed.

The 0.54-inch OLED display keeps wattage, resistance, and battery level in front of you at all times, readable in daylight. Two RGB lights pulse through the clear body as you draw, which is a nice touch rather than a gimmick. Menu navigation runs entirely through the one button, so there is nothing cluttering the chassis. It looks considered rather than busy.

Colour choice here is unusually wide, running from plain black, silver and white through to apple green, glacier blue, pink and red. Four leather editions sit above those: Rock Black, Forest Green, Flame Red and Coral Orange. The leather wraps add grip as well as looks, which helps on a device of this size. There is something understated and something bold in equal measure.

If you would rather not swap coils at all, the built-in coil Luxe X pods drop straight into this device. Three resistances are offered: a 0.4Ω mesh for DTL, a 0.6Ω mesh for RDL, and a 0.8Ω mesh for MTL. That gives you a simpler option on busy days and the replaceable route when you want control.
