Vaporesso Coils

Vaporesso has built one of the most technically developed coil ranges in the UK market, spanning everything from tight mouth-to-lung pod coils through to high-output direct-to-lung mesh heads. Vaporesso Replacement Coils split into two distinct systems: fixed-coil pods where the coil is built directly into the cartridge and replaced with the whole pod, and separate replaceable coil heads that slot into compatible empty pod bodies or tanks.

COREX technology, now at version 3.0, sits at the heart of the current pod range and delivers improved flavour clarity and longer coil life across the XROS and LUXE series. The GTX and GTi mesh coil lines serve the sub-ohm and tank end of the range, covering resistances from 0.15ohm all the way to 1.2ohm. Whether you use a compact MTL pod kit or a high-wattage tank setup, the Vaporesso Coils range has a coil engineered for your device.

Quick facts:

  • Coil resistance spans from 0.15ohm to 1.2ohm across the range.
  • Fixed-coil pods and replaceable coil heads available for different Vaporesso devices.
  • COREX technology now at version 3.0 for improved flavour and coil life.
  • GTX coil heads cover seven resistances and work across multiple platforms.
  • Most Vaporesso coils last approximately one to two weeks with regular use.
  • All pod-based coils are UK TPD compliant with 2ml pod bodies.

Why Vaporesso Coils Stand Out

COREX Technology: 2.0 and 3.0

COREX is Vaporesso's in-house coil construction system, now in its third generation on the XROS platform. It heats e-liquid more evenly across the mesh surface, reducing hot spots, improving flavour accuracy, and extending coil life compared to standard mesh designs. COREX 3.0 refines this further with improved heating uniformity and faster ramp-up time.

Two Coil Formats in One Range

Vaporesso Replacement Coils come in both fixed-coil and replaceable formats. Fixed-coil pods covering the XROS, LUXE, and Vibe lines have the coil built into the cartridge, so you replace the whole pod when it wears out. Replaceable coil heads covering the GTX, GTi, and GT series slot into a separate pod or tank body and are swapped individually.

Resistance From 0.15ohm to 1.2ohm

The range spans tight cigarette-style MTL draws at 1.0–1.2ohm right through to wide-open DTL outputs at 0.15–0.3ohm. Very few coil ranges cover this breadth within a single brand ecosystem. Whether you use a low-wattage pod or a high-wattage tank, there is a Vaporesso Coil rated for your setup.

Dual Mesh on the Vibe Series

The Vibe and Vibe V2 pods use a dual mesh coil configuration, with two mesh strips working in parallel for more even heat distribution. This delivers fuller, more consistent flavour over the life of the pod and reduces the chance of one area of the wick running dry before the other.

Genuine Compatibility Across the Ecosystem

GTX coil heads work across multiple Vaporesso platforms: GTX tanks, GTX series pods, and a range of mod-compatible devices, making them one of the most versatile separate coil heads in the range. COREX pods also maintain forward compatibility across XROS kit generations, so upgrading your device rarely requires switching pod format.

Consistent Lifespan With Correct Usage

Vaporesso Mesh Coils are rated for approximately one to two weeks of regular use, depending on coil type and e-liquid choice. Higher-sugar e-liquids shorten this window, while balanced 50/50 or nic salt liquids help extend it. Priming correctly before first use is the single most effective step for maximising coil life.

UK TPD Compliant

All pod-based coil products in the Vaporesso range use 2ml pod bodies in line with UK TPD regulations. Replacement coil heads are sold as accessories and are available only to buyers aged 18 and over.

  • LUXE XR Pods: Use separate replaceable coil heads, allowing you to change the coil without replacing the entire pod body.

Vaporesso GTX Replacement Coils

GTX coil heads are the most versatile Vaporesso Replacement Coils in the range. Available in 5-packs across seven resistance options from 0.15ohm to 1.2ohm, covering DTL, RDTL, and MTL draws. They fit the GTX series tanks, GTX pod bodies, and a range of compatible platforms. The GTX V2 is the updated version with a revised mesh design, available in DTL-focused resistances. These sit inside separate pod bodies or tanks rather than being fixed inside a cartridge.

Vaporesso GTi Mesh Coils

The GTi coil heads are built for the iTank and iTank 2, covering DTL sub-ohm vaping. Available in 5-packs across 0.15 ohm, 0.2 ohm, 0.4 ohm, and 0.5 ohm. Designed for higher-wattage, open-airflow setups where vapour volume and flavour intensity are the priority over portability or discretion. These Vaporesso Mesh Coils suit experienced vapers running dedicated tank and mod setups.

Vaporesso Vibe Pod Cartridges

The Vibe and Vibe V2 pods introduce dual mesh coil construction to the mid-range pod platform. Vibe pods are 2ml, 2-pack, with Hyperflow flavour release technology and a top-fill port. Vibe V2 pods are 2ml, 3-pack, covering MTL and RDTL draws with a fixed dual mesh coil. Both suit the Vibe SE and Vibe Nano kit families.

Vaporesso Eco Nano Pods

Built for the compact Eco Nano and Eco Nano Pro kits, these 2ml pods come in 2-packs across 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm. Fixed coil built into the pod, top-fill, MTL and RDTL compatible. The format of choice for Vaporesso GT Coils users stepping toward a newer platform in the Eco Nano range.

How To Prime and Install Your Vaporesso Coil

For fixed-coil pods (COREX, Vibe, Eco Nano):

  1. Remove the old pod from your device and discard it.
  2. Fill the new pod with e-liquid via the top-fill port to the marked line; do not overfill.
  3. Replace the fill port cap firmly and leave the pod upright for five to ten minutes to soak the coil.
  4. Reinsert the pod into the device until it clicks into place.
  5. Start with two or three short, gentle draws before your first full inhale to finish priming.

For replaceable coil heads (GTX, GTi):

  1. Remove the old coil head by unscrewing it from the pod or tank base.
  2. Apply a few drops of e-liquid directly to the exposed cotton wicking ports on the new coil.
  3. Screw the new coil into the pod or tank base, then fill the tank with e-liquid.
  4. Leave the filled tank standing upright for ten minutes to allow full saturation.
  5. Start at a lower wattage than your target and work up gradually over the first few puffs.
Please dispose of used coils and pods responsibly by recycling them through a local vape or electronics recycling point where appropriate. Do not place them in household waste.

Knowing When to Replace Your Vaporesso Coil

  • Burnt or harsh taste: Replace the pod or coil immediately.
  • Reduced flavour: The coil may be clogged with residue; consider replacing it.
  • Gurgling or flooding: Check the fill level and replace the coil if it continues.
  • Reduced vapour: Replace the coil and check the recommended wattage.
  • Dry hit from a new pod: Prime the coil and wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping.
  • Leaking: Check for cracks or worn seals and replace the pod if damaged.
  • Every two weeks: Consider replacing the coil or pod to maintain flavour quality.
